New General Manager to Build on Tradition of Unique Community Businesses & Events

CARMEL, CALIF. – January 11, 2007 Randi Williams has been named the new general manager of the Barnyard Shopping Village in Carmel, California. Williams first joined the Barnyard in August 2005 as assistant property manager.

Williams has extensive experience in many facets of real estate and property management. She was previously the operations and project manager for a residential property in Pacific Grove, California, and a regional property manager for Manco Abbott, Inc., headquartered in Fresno, California. In addition, Williams formerly worked in escrow coordination with Prudential California Realty, Carmel.

Williams aspires to continue to bring fine boutique shops to the Barnyard, carrying on a tradition that began more than 30 years ago. She also plans to build on the Barnyard's long history of bringing the community together in the village's lush gardens and courtyards, with numerous events such as the annual Art & Wine Festival, the seasonal Farmers Market, and more. In addition, Williams will seek even more ways the Barnyard can give back to the community, through events and programs that benefit children, animals, and other local charitable causes.

"The Barnyard continues to be the most beautiful and serene place to shop and dine on the Monterey Peninsula, and we care about our customers, our merchants, and our neighbors," said Williams. "I'm fortunate and proud to be part of such a distinctive shopping center and community."
