Unique Silent Auction Items Unveiled for Chartwell School Fundraiser

From surfing lessons to accommodations in Paris, Brilliant Visions auction items will peak all interests

MONTEREY, Calif. - Chartwell School will be hosting its 3rd annual "Brilliant Visions" party on Saturday, April 20, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center at Long Marine Lab in Santa Cruz. Erin Brokovich, environmental crusader and author, has endorsed the evening by contributing her photograph and autographed copies of her book to be featured at the event. Rob Dixon, a successful Chartwell alumnus, will be the evening's guest of honor. The evening, featuring wine, strolling dinner and a silent auction, is intended to expand community awareness of the issues surrounding dyslexia and learning differences and support the Chartwell School Financial Aid program. The silent auction will include items such as local overnight getaways, accommodations in Paris, surfing lessons, artwork, fine wines, pampering products and golf packages will be available for those individuals with the highest bid. Live music by Mary McCaslin and the Gary Regina Duo will be featured, as well as wine tasting compliments of Storr's Winery, Hallcrest Vineyards and Burrell School Vineyard.
