There Is Much to See at Decorock’s 2002 Annual Pond Tour
SALINAS, Calif.-- DecoRock Natural Stone and Landscaping Supplies is proud to announce that on Saturday, October 19, 2002 from 10am to 4pm they will be hosting the 2002 Pond Tour. This year's annual tour will showcase ponds, fountains and water features at various residences and businesses in Salinas Valley, Carmel Valley and the Monterey Peninsula. Guests and participants will experience unique ponds throughout the county.
The team at DecoRock will guide novices and professionals in creating the most functional and unique water features possible, while highlighting ponds throughout Salinas, Carmel and Monterey. Jeff Taylor, President of DecoRock, commented, "Our goal is to educate people to the joys, challenges and satisfactions of owning a water garden. By giving our guests the opportunity to travel from home to home, they can enjoy each individual setting, seeing various pond shapes, materials and structures all with varied styles."
Guests will kick-off the day by picking up a tour map, directions and a brief description of each participant location at DecoRock, 117 Monterey-Salinas Highway, Salinas.
This year's Pond Tour will benefit Young Life Ministries of Salinas Valley and Seaside. Guests and participants will be encouraged to make a voluntary donation to Young Life Ministries. Young Life is a non-denominational youth ministry whose mission is to "reach every kid, everywhere for eternity."
