The Cannery Row Foundation Adds Three New Board Members

The new board members join Cannery Row Foundation Board Members, David Armanasco, Ted Balestreri, James Bridges, Pat Hathaway, Michael Hemp, Thor Rasmussen, Lou Rudolph, Art Ring and Mike Zimmerman.
Re-elected as President of the Board of Directors is Cannery Row historian Michael Hemp; re-elected as Vice-President is historian A.L. Scrap Lundy from Santa Barbara; and serving as Secretary-Treasurer is Michael Zimmerman of the Cannery Row Company.
The newly elected Board will embark on an ambitious educational agenda of Cannery Row historic, cultural and conservation projects. These projects include construction and upkeep of the Foundation's historic memorials (Ed Ricketts, Cannery Divers and the upcoming Queen of Cannery Row bronze memorial for Kalisa Moore); support for the return of The Western Flyer project; and helping the City of Monterey fund preservation and maintenance of Pacific Biological Laboratories' Ed Ricketts' Lab.

The Cannery Row Foundation was incorporated February 17, 1983, as an Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3) non-profit California Corporation. The purpose of the Cannery Row Foundation is to preserve the historical and literary resources of Cannery Row, Monterey, California, and to research, interpret, educate, disseminate, and celebrate the unique multi-cultural essence of Cannery Row's historic, literary, cultural and ecological legacies.
