The Bountiful Basket Opens in the Barnyard

Carmel, Calif. - June 29, 2005 - The Bountiful Basket, a gourmet food and wine store is now open in the Barnyard Shopping Village, just off Carmel Valley Road. Local owners Sharon and Steven Cuneo offer a wide variety of specialty food items, including gourmet olive oils, imported aged balsamic vinegars, artisanal cheeses, an extensive wine selection and wine accessories. The Cuneo's also own the Center Street Marketplace located in Carmel Valley Village, a few miles from the Barnyard.

The Bountiful Basket outgrew their former location in the Crossroads Shopping Village and has now moved to a beautiful new space located near the Bixby Martini Bistro and Tempel's Florist.

People interested in gourmet food and wine will love the selection available at the store. Customers can taste more than 30 varieties of olive oil, as well as sample some of the most creative and tasty vinegars available in the marketplace.

Winemaker Saturdays are a special feature at the store, where customers can sample wines and chat with the winemaker, all while selecting the perfect bottle for that casual meal or special occasion.

The Bountiful Basket also creates unique gift baskets that can include anything in the store, from wine carriers, corkscrews, napkins to gourmet food items.
