The 36th Annual “chef of the Year” Dinner and President’s Ball to Be Held March 27th

The Monterey Bay Chapter of the American Culinary Federation to Honor

MONTEREY, Calif. - March 3, 2010 - The Monterey Bay Chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) is holding its 36th Annual "Chef of the Year" Dinner & President's Ball on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club in Pebble Beach at 6:00PM. Tickets are available for $100.00.

The evening program will include commendations from Congressmen, a California State Senator, local city mayors, and other dignitaries as members of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the ACF recognize an esteemed peer with the prestigious "Chef of the Year" Award. This year's winner of this outstanding recognition is Chef Jacques Wilson, Certified Executive Chef (CEC), American Academy of Chefs (AAC), who is the Executive Chef for the El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, CA. The Sardine Factory's Bert P. Cutino, CEC, American Academy of Chefs (AAC), and past ACF National Chef of the Year (1988), will honor Chef Wilson, along with Purveyor of the Year - Rhonda Simon of Pacific Harvest, and the Celebrated Chef of the Year - Tony Baker of Montrio Bistro in Monterey.
