Suspense and Drama Grip the Stage as the Young and Fair Opens at Santa Catalina School
Monterey, Calif. - December 29, 2005 - Students at Santa Catalina School will perform the drama, The Young and Fair, at the school's Sister Carlotta Performing Arts Center located at 1500 Mark Thomas Drive in Monterey. Filled with intrigue and unscrupulous implications, the suspenseful play explores honesty and integrity in an academic setting.
Written by N. Richard Nash, the drama begins when a sincere and intelligent alumna returns to her alma mater with her idealistic younger sister, who enters as a student.
The drama will feature Vronica Heiskell from Carmel Valley as Sara Cantry and Natalie Gomex from Carmel as Lee Barron. Cassandra Cappucio from Salinas will also lead as Sister Frances with Cece Stewart from Ranch Mirage playing the leading role of Patty Morritt.
Evening performances will be held on January 13, 14, 20, 21 at 7:30 p.m., and a matinee performance will be held on January 20 at 12:15 p.m. The play is appropriate for all ages and the entire community is invited to attend.
