Pebble Beach, Calif.--The cast, crew and orchestra of the Stevenson Players' 2003 musical, "West Side Story," are preparing for opening night on Friday, February 7, 2003 at Keck Auditorium on campus. The classic Leonard Bernstein/Stephen Sondheim musical is being performed at Stevenson for the first time.

Following their scheduled local performances, these 73 talented students are off for a nearly two-week Hawaiian tour during Winter Break. They will be on tour from February 23^rd through March 6^th, with performances scheduled at fellow independent schools on the islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii.

The musical opens in Keck Auditorium at Stevenson School, 3152 Forest Lake Road, Pebble Beach, 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2003. Additional performances are scheduled for the following dates and times: Saturday, February 8, 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, February 9, 2 p.m.; Thursday, February 13, 7:30 p.m.; Friday, February 14, 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday, February 15, 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $10.
