STANFORD, Calif. - March 25, 2010 - Written by a 79 year old former television and advertising executive who developed some of the most memorable cultural icons, including the Fruit of the Loom characters and the smile on the PSA airplane, Live or Die: A Stroke of Good Luck is a memoir chronicling Dick Burns' recovery from a hemorrhagic stroke he had over 40 years ago, without surgery or the technology of today's medicine.

Dick Burns is a Stanford University Alumni, Class of 1952. He is returning to his alma mater for a book signing to introduce his newly released book.
