Saucito Land Company Announces Redevelopment Plans for 459 Alvarado Street Site

MONTEREY, CA. - Saucito Land Company announced today that they have submitted plans and an application to the City of Monterey Planning Department for the redevelopment of their 459 Alvarado Street property.

The T.A. Work Building will be two buildings that include a combination of business and residential.  There will be onsite parking and a promenade connecting Alvarado and Tyler Streets.  Building A, a 13,360 square foot two story building facing Alvarado Street, will feature two retail spaces, a restaurant and eight residential units.  Building B, a 21,325 square foot three story building facing Tyler Street, will feature a restaurant and thirteen residential units.

Julie Work Beck, a principal of Saucito Land Company said, "We worked diligently to present a great project within three months and honor our promise made on February 12th."  Jerry Anderson, Property Manager for Saucito Land Company added, "This project will renew the vitality of Alvarado Street and brings new energy to Tyler Street."
