Peter Greenberg, Host of Nationally Syndicated Radio Show, Visits Cannery Row
Monterey Fire Department will be featured in upcoming show
MONTEREY, CALIF. – July 1, 2014 – Today Peter Greenberg, International travel expert and host of the radio show "Travel Today," is recording his nationally syndicated Peter Greenberg Worldwide travel show from the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa on Cannery Row. Each week Peter Greenberg Worldwide broadcasts from a different remote location and features local experts sharing their favorite gems. Among the guests being interviewed on the show today is Pete Koeman from the Monterey Fire Department.
A multiple Emmy-winning investigative reporter and producer, Greenberg is America's most recognized, honored and respected front-line travel news journalist. He began his career in journalism as a West Coast correspondent for Newsweek in Los Angeles and San Francisco. He has been a featured guest on CNN, Larry King Live, The O'Reilly Factor, The Oprah Winfrey Show, The View, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Dr. Phil Show, Extra and many other television programs. Travel Weekly named him one of the most influential people in travel. He was inducted into the U.S. Travel Association's Hall of Leaders for his contributions to the travel industry.
When Greenberg is not traveling the world he is an avid volunteer fire fighter in New York and has been volunteering since he was 18 years old.
