Pepsi Teams With Cannery Row for a Family Fun Event

Pepsi's Cannery Row Block Party

This event includes47 Cannery Row merchants and 16 restaurants. There will be strolling performances by jugglers, clowns, stilt walkers, balloon artists, musicians and the Monterey Bay Lion Dancers. Musical performances by Chop Tops and Red Beans and Rice will leadon the Steinbeck Plaza Stage. Mid-day Ghirardelli is sponsoring aSundae Eating Contest at the Steinbeck Plaza Stage. A Children's Stage will include magic shows and performances by Mary Lee Sunseri. There will be a face painting booth as well as the Oakland A's pitching booth accompanied by the San Jose Sharks' mascot, "Sharkie." All proceeds from the Pepsi booth sales will be donated to Monterey County Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Cannery Row Foundation.
