Pasadera Country Club Appoints Key Members to Senior Management Team
MONTEREY, Calif. – January 11, 2007 – Stephen W. Schroeder has recently been appointed as General Manager of Pasadera Country Club, while Heather C. Anderson was promoted to the position of Director of Membership Sales and Special Events. In addition, Brian P. Salmonsen has assumed the role of Director of Club Operations.
Schroeder will be responsible for overall management of Pasadera Country Club operations, including marketing, while Anderson will focus her attention on sales, member functions, and private event development. Schroeder and Anderson will share responsibility for membership growth. Salmonsen will supervise clubhouse operations and manage certain food and beverage activities.
Schroeder's experience in the golf industry spans three decades. He has substantial expertise in the areas of golf property development, marketing, management, and operations. Most recently, he served as General Manager for the renowned Harding Park Golf Course in San Francisco, which played host to the 2005 World Golf Championships-American Express Championship.

During the 1990's, Schroeder served as the Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer of one of the pre-eminent golf course design and development firms. Following those duties, he participated in the initial development of the Club at Pronghorn in Bend, Oregon where he was primarily responsible for Phase I sales and marketing efforts. After graduating from Stanford University in 1980, he spent the following nine years as a professional golfer, competing in two United States Open championships.
Anderson served as Community Center Director for the Cities of Beverly Hills and Monterey for six years before joining Pasadera Country Club in 2002. A Monterey Peninsula native, Anderson graduated from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 1995.
Prior to Salmonsen's involvement at Pasadera, he was responsible for food and beverage activities for the Monterey Peninsula Country Club and the Pebble Beach Company. Salmonsen has resided in Monterey since 1978 and graduated from San Francisco State University in 1983.
