(Oct. 10, 2006) - Carmel Valley Ranch www.CarmelValleyRanch.com, the Valley's premiere luxury retreat set amongst the Santa Lucia foothills, has named Nick Del Pozzo as director of membership sales for the soon-to-debut Premier Club at Carmel Valley Ranch. In his new position, Del Pozzo is responsible for increasing the membership base through direct sales and marketing initiatives, as well as generating interest in the new club offerings.

Golf is a key component to the Carmel Valley Ranch experience, and the resort is committed to returning the golf course to its original prominence. Under the guidance of Gene Bates Design Group, the Carmel Valley Ranch golf course has begun an enhancement program that will restore - not replace - the existing Pete Dye design. Enhancements are slated for completion in early 2007. The resort will also debut a newly re-organized membership program in November, under the name: The Premier Club at Carmel Valley Ranch. The new Premier Club will offer streamlined membership tiers and a more comprehensive membership package encompassing the property's award-winning amenities.

Del Pozzo is familiar with the Carmel Valley Ranch setting and audience, having served as sales manager for the resort for the past year. Prior to this, Del Pozzo worked as a national account manager for Hayes Mansion Conference Center in San Jose, Calif., and as a senior sales manager at Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club in Carmel.
