Monterey’s Accista Spa Celebrates One Year Anniversary
Luxury Spa at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Celebrates with Launch of New Signature Line Created by Carmel’s Ajne
The five blends are designed around the subtle seasonal changes of the Monterey Peninsula, to bring guests in tune with the natural rhythms of the coast. Each blend contains healing seasonal distilled plants, trees, flowers and fruits that are native to the area. These ancient essential oils are gently diffused throughout the spa and incorporated into signature treatments as well as a take home spa retail collection. The five new blends include:
The signature scent "Accista" captures the essence of the Monterey Coastline, which includes local cypress, pine, Douglas fir and sage all known to help calm the nervous and digestive systems, relieve pain and respiratory discomfort and detoxify the lymphatic system.
The Harvest Blend symbolizes the autumn season. This season represents cleansing and shedding the old. This blend opens with notes of lemon and grapefruit which are uplifting and detoxifying, progressing into a heart of ginger which acts as a digestive and mental stimulant and grounds into a base of cypress which is calming and acts as a great aid in times of transition.
The Rest Blend symbolizes the winter season. This season represents introspection and calming. This blend opens with notes of lime that spread joy progressing into heart notes of sage known to clear bad energy and act as a powerful cure-all for virtually every ailment. Pine helps the respiratory system and relieves muscle and joint pain and notes of oak moss and labdanum are calming and grounding to the nervous system.
The Renewal Blend symbolizes the spring season, which is uplifting and rejuvenating. Opening with notes of peppermint and spearmint that wake up and energize the mind and body progressing into heart notes of lavender which balance all body systems, aid the respiratory system and relieve muscle and joint pain all while rejuvenating the spirit.
The Abundance Blend symbolizes the summer season. This season represents enrichment, restoration and balancing. Opening with bergamot this blend is designed to restore balance to the mind, and then progresses into grounding notes of labdanum and oak moss known to help ground and restore the psyche.
