Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is Hosting 1st Annual Business Success Forum
Toby Corey, Former President Global Sales and Customer Experience for Tesla Energy Group, Co-founder & Former CEO of Tuul and Former Chief Revenue Officer for SolarCity Will be the Afternoon Keynote Speaker
September 17, 2019 – The Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is hosting their 1st Business Forum, Business Heroes: Pathways to Success, on Friday, September 27th from 12:30 – 4:00pm at Embassy Suites in Seaside.
The event includes lunch and keynote speaker Toby Corey, former President Global Sales and Customer Experience for Tesla Energy Group, Co-founder & Former CEO of Tuul and Former Chief Revenue Officer for Solar City. From 2:00-4:00pm an outstanding panel of regional business and non-profit leaders, who have succeeded in their business/non-profits, will share insights and fresh ideas about how to thrive in such a turbulent business and economic climate.
Panelists include Lori Koster, former Chairwoman and CEO, Mann Packing; Supervisor John Phillips, Founder and Board Member, Rancho Cielo; Greg Ahn, Founder and CEO, Folktale Winery; Carina Cristofalo, Co-founder and Co-Owner, Wonderwall; Shawn Adams, Founder and President Monterey Signs; and Beshar Sneeh, Co-founder and Owner, Dametra Group.
Panelists will share how they work, why they work, and their examples of how to succeed. In addition, attendees will receive access to tips and guides for everything from business finance and management, to planning out social media, proven strategies for marketing and sales, and actionable ideas to implement for greater success.
The cost to attend the lunch and panel discussion is $65 for Chamber members/$75 for non- members ($10 for students with i.d., not including lunch).
The goal of this exciting event is to provide businesses, non-profits, startups, investors, and the regional community a forum for pathways to funding local and regional startup business projects and the opportunity to network with peers and fellow entrepreneurs, connect with investors, and to learn from successful business/non-profit leaders.
The event is a collaboration between CSUMB, the Startup Investment Community, The Slow Money/Community Capital community in the Monterey Bay Region, and the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce--with the help of the Marina Chamber of Commerce. In addition to the afternoon forum presented by the Chamber, CSUMB will lead educational sessions in the morning beginning at 8:30am.
