MONTEREY, Calif.-The Monterey County Young Professionals Group (MCYPG) is hosting a special mixer, celebrating their one-year anniversary on Thursday, November 6, 2003 from 6 - 8:30pm at Montrio Bistro, 414 Calle Principal in Monterey. The MCYPG was founded in 2002 by Lisa Piotrkowski, Elizabeth Diaz and Catherine Bowie of Armanasco Public Relations, Inc., based in Monterey.

The mission of the MCYPG is to bring together young professionals in their 20s and 30s while providing networking opportunities in a casual and social environment. The MCYPG is eager and enthusiastic about the emerging role of young professionals in the local community, and is proud to offer their peers this career/business development resource.

MCYPG President, Lisa Piotrkowski commented, "The response to our organization has been overwhelming, what started out as a group of four, has now grown to a membership of nearly 400. We are looking forward to what the future holds for our organization."
