MONTEREY, Calif. - June 23, 2006 - Monterey-based Phil Dean Productions earned a Bronze Telly in the 27th Annual Telly Awards for its production of Coastal Cuisine with Tene Shake, a 30-minute Monterey Peninsula-based television cooking show. Tene Shake, a Monterey Peninsula native and local celebrity chef, is the proprietor of Tene Shake Signature Restaurants which include: Isabella's Italian Seafood & Steaks, Cabo's Wild Mexican Seafood, and Lattitudes at Lover's Point featuring Loungitudes Bar.

Filmed right here in Monterey, Tene takes the fear out of cooking seafood at home. He demonstrates the process of preparing and cooking seafood inspired dishes while providing helpful tips to make your seafood creations spectacular, and as Tene says, "FLAVORLICIOUS!" The Shake family has been in Monterey for generations and is part of the incredible history of Fisherman's Wharf. The family's legacy lives on through their restaurants, fish markets and commercial fishing boats.
