Local High-School Sober Grad Night Participants Win One Day Skip Barber Dodge Driving School
MONTEREY, Calif. - Skip Barber Racing School LLC congratulates Ryan Wat of Palma High School, T.J. Wilkens of Seaside High School, and Brandon Little of King City High School, who each won a Skip Barber One Day Dodge Driving School.
Monterey County high schools were invited to participate in the first Skip Barber Dodge Driving School Sober Grad Night drawing. Nine of the fourteen schools submitted entries for the final drawing held at the Skip Barber Racing School Facility at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca in late June.
"Skip Barber Dodge Driving School's goal is to support Sober Grad Night celebrations in the Monterey County. This helps our local high schools to provide a fun, safe and sober graduation," said Jeanette Veitenheimer, the program's coordinator for Skip Barber Racing School LLC.
This one-day program teaches vehicle dynamics, slides and recoveries on a skid pad, threshold braking and accident avoidance techniques. The skill and knowledge learned at Skip Barber Dodge Driving School are combined in an exhilarating autocross exercise utilizing the Dodge Viper.
The awardees have till late June 2003 to use their vouchers. Photo opportunities available.
