KinCentral Offers “Free Forever” Photo and Video Storage to First 1,000 Users That Download Their New Family Mobile App

Private, Secure, Easy and Fun Photo and Video Sharing App for Families

September 5, 2013

SANTA CRUZ, CALIF. - KinCentral is rolling out a new free mobile app that helps families share and save all their photos and videos privately and securely.

The KinCentral mobile app and website offer free, unlimited storage space for photos.  A subscription fee is required for users who want to share and store videos longer than one minute.  With "free forever" the first 1,000 users will get up to 100 hours of free storage of family created videos as a thank you for becoming the first community of users.  KinCentral particularly encourages moms, new moms and newlyweds to participate in this soft launch.

The new KinCentral mobile app and website experience is designed to serve the photo and video sharing needs of families, without the worry of whether or not their photos are secure and kept in a private environment.  It is simple, fun, and easy to use.

KinCentral merges the spontaneity of Instagram with Dropbox-like group sharing, but with an important distinction: the shared pictures, videos and messaging are only amongst family members users invite.   KinCentral's patent-pending optimizations and beautiful user interface make it the easiest way to upload, search, sort, tag, and organize the increasing growth of family content.  And KinCentral has no ads to disrupt your family experience.

"Consumers are getting increasingly wary of big social media sites such as Facebook, Google and Instagram who continue to push the boundaries of individual and family privacy", states Damon Danielson, Founder of KinCentral.

KinCentral uses state-of-the-art protocols to insure the privacy and security of a family's content. All of the shared family photos and videos are simultaneously saved in one family location on the cloud.  KinCentral does not permanently keep the photos stored by users.  If a photo or video is deleted by a user, it is automatically deleted from KinCentral.  The user member is always in control of the "digital assets".  KinCentral does not monetize any user's private data or sell information to 3rd parties.  KinCentral does not search a family's private communications for any purpose, as do Google and Facebook. The website provides more screen space for users to play with and organize photos and videos.

Users choose which family members to invite. If desired, users can customize which family members can see certain photos via built-in privacy options. Family members can be invited to your KinList via email or a mobile phone number.

KinCentral is the most innovative secure, private photo and video sharing app available.  The mobile app is currently available for download on the iPhone versions 4 and 5.  To download the mobile app visit www.kincentral.com.
