Key For A Cure Foundation Holds Gala Event to Raise Funds for Pediatric Cancer Research
All Event Proceeds will Benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital
Key for a Cure Foundation is holding its second black-tie charity event to raise funds for pediatric cancer research at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The event is being held on Saturday, September 16th from 5:30 pm – 10:00 pm at the Corral de Tierra Country Club. It is the only event in Monterey County to directly raise funds to support cellular therapy, an innovative pediatric cancer research protocol at St. Jude Children's Hospital.
The night commences with a hosted cocktail reception from 5:30pm to 6:30 p.m. followed by an elegant dinner and live auction. Featured keynotes speakers include Aimee Grijalva-Pierce, mother of Baby Matthew a local pediatric cancer patient treated at St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Live auction items include a Seadream Yacht Vacation for two, Tuscany Culinary Vacation Escape, American Music Awards VIP Experience, two Floor VIP NBA Champions Golden State Warriors Tickets, Tesla for a weekend with one night stay Tehama Golf Club and much more.
The event the Foundation held in September 2015 raised $250,000.00 for St. Jude Children's Hospital.

About Key for a Cure Foundation
Key for a Cure Foundation is a non profit organization was formed in 2015 to raise funds for cancer research at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The mission of the foundation is to raise funds to directly support cellular research, an innovative pediatric cancer therapy, to get this new treatment to clinical trial. Members of the Board include Anne Bramers, Anne Chisum, Margaret Duflock, Karen Fanoe, Barbara Filice, Liz Grijalva, Shirley Lavorato, Heidi Licata, Sara Phelps, Aimee Grijalva-Pierce, Clark Savage and Sandy Storm.
