Hyatt Regency Monterey Announces New Executive Chef
Chef Russell Young to Oversee the Culinary Functions of Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa
Young holds 17 years of culinary experience and is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. He began is career in 1993 as the Chef Tournant for the El Conquistador Resort & Country Club in Las Crobas, Puerto Rico and then joined the Hyatt team in 1994. He has held positions of Sous Chef/Banquet Chef at the Hyatt Regency Beaver Creek and Executive Sous Chef for the Hyatt Regency St. Lucia and Hyatt Regency Capitol Square in Ohio. Most recently he served as the Executive Chef at the Hyatt Regency Tech Center Denver where for the past six years he was responsible for the day-to-day operations along with overseeing the Food and Beverage Director position for four outlets.
The Hyatt Regency Monterey's TusCA Ristorante is a full service restaurant featuring authentic Tuscan cuisine prepared with fresh, seasonal Californian ingredients.
