Monterey, Calif. - January 26, 2010 -The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa on Del Monte Golf Course has added two new members to its sales force. Kathryn McMahon has been named Senior Sales Manager and Tricia Dillard will serve as Sales Manager. Each will work remotely from their home offices in Washington state and Colorado respectively.

McMahon holds over 16 years of experience in sales and has consistently met or exceeded her sales goals throughout her career. Most recently she was the National Sales Manager for Ojai Valley Inn & Spa Resort, and the Director of Sales for Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club in Carmel Valley where she managed the Group Sales, Catering and Events, Reservations Departments, and Public Relations and Advertising for the resort. She has also served as the Director of Sales for the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau, where she was a key contributor in winning SITE 2007 and in winning NTA 2009 Spring Meet. She holds a Bachelor of Art in World Arts and Cultures from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dillard has over 11 years of experience in sales with the Hyatt Corporation, and began her career with Hyatt Regency New Orleans as a Food and Beverage Assistant Manager. She was then promoted to Sales Manager where she consistently exceeded her sales goals managing accounts for the West Coast corporate markets, national accounts, Midwest associations and pharmaceutical meeting planners. She has served as Business Travel Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn and was most recently the Senior Sales Manager working with key meeting planners for Automotive, Government, Union, and National Account markets. She has received the Hyatt Masters award three times and has been nominated for the Hyatt Sales Manager of the Year twice. Her most recent experience includes fundraising activities for the Education Foundation for Cle Elum Roslyn Board of Directors in Washington state. Dillard holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Washington State University.
