SEASIDE, Calif.- Fishing for The Cure will be hosting their first annual "Golfing for The Cure" golf tournament, Friday, April 29 from 11:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside.  Tournament fees are $150 per player or $600 per team of four.  Entry fees include a boxed lunch, driving range practice, green fees and cart.  Players are also invited to attend a dinner and awards ceremony following the tournament.  All proceeds from the "Fishing for The Cure" golf tournament will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Founded in 1970 by the parents of children with diabetes, JDRF's mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.  JDRF is the world's leading non-profit, non-governmental contributor to diabetes research.  JDRF is dedicated to finding a cure for juvenile diabetes, which strikes children suddenly, makes them insulin-dependant for life, and carries the constant threat of devastating complications.  For more information or to enter the tournament please call 831.601.9021.
