Award Winning Photographic Exhibit to Compliment 51st Annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

MONTEREY, Calif.- Koffman Gallery in Monterey, California is pleased to announce a very special showing of the photographic art of Phil Toy, featuring his images of Classic Cadillac Automobiles. Phil Toy's photographic images have won 20 national awards, including the New York Film Festival and the San Francisco Art Directors' Show. His clients include national advertising agencies, architectural firms, magazines and five-star hotels and resorts both in the United States and abroad. Toy's own collection of six vintage Cadillacs are often featured in his work. Recently, his cars and his images were guests of the American Embassy in Taiwan where they were put on display. This celebration of Automotive Art and American Culture was a smash success. One of his most popular images is "Mooo de Ville" which features several curious black and white cows checking out his white 1959 Cadillac convertible. Dan Koffman, owner and resident artist of Koffman Gallery and Phil Toy both grew up in southern California and have been friends for almost 40 years. Koffman says, "We studied art and architecture together and have always shared a rather twisted sense of humor. I'm pleased to welcome my old buddy to Monterey during our automotive week to share his wonderful images and personality with the visiting public!" "Fin Fetish" will be on display at the Koffman Gallery, August 16-21, coinciding with this year's 51st Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, taking place at The Lodge at Pebble Beach Resort. The Concours d' Elegance, a premiere showcase features one of the most spectacular exhibits of unique prewar and postwar automobiles, along with the latest in concept car designs. The Koffman Gallery features the colorful, upbeat and often humorous art of Dan Koffman, including his popular Twisted Olive and Klub Golf collections.
