East Garrison Stakeholder Workshop and Open House
WHO:
Woodman Development Company, Inc. and Stakeholders of the Public Interest Groups to be located at the East Garrison of Ft. Ord.
WHAT:
Presentation of the plan and scale model for development of a new traditional community at East Garrison. The plan, which has been two years in the making, is the result of a successful collaboration of County government, private sector developers/planners and four diverse stakeholding public interest groups including the Arts Habitat, the Monterey Horse Park, the Akicita Luta Intertribal Society, the Ohlone-Costanoan-Esselen Nation, the Monterey Youth Camp and Monterey Peninsula College. This is the same collaborative which energized local public thinking on new housing opportunities in their first design charrette in October of 2001.
