Community Invited to 1st Annual Barnyard Merchant Open House
The Barnyard Thanks Locals with Free Food & Fun
To thank local customers for 30 years of support, the Barnyard merchants are rolling out the red carpet with appetizers served by all the Barnyard restaurants, wine poured by Ventana Vineyards, and live music from Lee Durley and the Easy Street Band. The food, wine, and entertainment are all free to the public, courtesy of the Barnyard merchants.
"When you shop at the Barnyard, you're supporting locally owned businesses," said Stephanie Scholderer, the Barnyard's general manager. "What better way to say thank you than to throw the neighborhood a party!"
Drawings for Barnyard restaurant gift certificates will occur throughout the afternoon on the 16th, and a silent auction benefiting the SPCA of Monterey County will add another special touch to a day designed to celebrate the Barnyard's friends and neighbors. SPCA pets will be the esteemed guests at the party, representing an exceptional organization.
The Barnyard is home to an eclectic mix of independent businesses, and stays on the lookout for interesting new merchants to add to its open-air shopping center made up of nine rustic barns. At the Barnyard, artists, clothiers, jewelers, stylists, restaurateurs, and more come together to create an upscale, yet welcoming community village atmosphere, accented by beautiful gardens, fountains, and outdoor seating areas. It is the ideal place to do business.
