August 2, 2006
MONTEREY, Calif. - August 2, 2006 - Coastal Cuisine with Tene Shake is moving to KCBA Fox 35 and, coming this Fall, to the Central Coast's newest station, CWCC (formerly the WB and UPN). Debuting August 6, 2006, the 30-minute Monterey Peninsula-based television cooking show will air weekly on KCBA FOX 35 Sunday's at 8:30am. Slated for mid-September, Coastal Cuisine with Tene Shake will also air on the CWCC, Monday's and Friday's at 11am. Additionally, the show will continue running on the local ABC 7 affiliate on Saturday's and nightly on Comcast Cable channel 34, both at 6:30pm.

Tene Shake is quickly making a name for himself as THE seafood chef of the Central Coast by unleashing a seafood extravaganza weekly on Coastal Cuisine with Tene Shake. Each mouth-watering episode focuses on a different bounty of the sea, caught only a few miles from Tene's kitchen on the Monterey Peninsula. While preparing delicious seafood delicacies, Tene is able to educate the public and foodies alike on what to look for when buying seafood, take viewers through the preparation process, and promote the use of sustainable seafood products, which all of his restaurants utilize. His goal is to ease viewers' fear of preparing seafood at home.

Many of the dishes prepared on Coastal Cuisine with Tene Shake can be found at his three Signature Restaurants on the Monterey Peninsula: Isabella's Italian Seafood & Steaks, Cabo's Wild Mexican Seafood, and Lattitudes at Lover's Point featuring Loungitudes Bar, as well as on his website, www.coastalcuisine.com.

Coastal Cuisine with Tene Shake made news earlier this year by winning bronze in the 27th Annual Telly Awards. The show is produced by award-winning producer/director Phil Dean. He has worked for clients such as Adobe Systems, The Gap, Banana Republic, Bank of America, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
