From 4:00 to 10:00 PM Saturday, Cherry's pre-1973 cars are invited to park on Cannery Row between Drake and Prescott Avenues. Meter-free parking will also be available along the ocean side of Wave Street, from Drake to Prescott.
Dubbed the biggest "oldies" party of the year, Cherry's Jubilee is a family motorsport festival that takes place September 7-10 in a number of beautiful Monterey County locations, including Cannery Row, the waterfront parking lot at Fisherman's Wharf, Old Monterey, Old Town Salinas, and Laguna Seca Raceway. Cherry's Jubilee is presented by the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation to benefit the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. To learn more, please visit www.cherrysjubilee.org.
Cannery Row between Drake and Prescott Streets will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 3:00 PM, with Wave Street remaining open all day. Eight conveniently located public parking areas allow visitors to drop off their cars and enjoy the car viewing and good times on foot. Visitors can view a map with parking areas marked at www.canneryrow.com.
Cannery Row from Prescott to David Avenues continues to remain closed to vehicle traffic during construction of the new Cannery Row Hotel. The entire street remains open to pedestrians, including all shops, restaurants, and attractions. A pedestrian pathway allows visitors to safely pass through the area under construction.
