SANTA CRUZ, CALIF. - Chaminade Resort & Spa, a long-time supporter and business sponsor of the Cultural Council, is offering a special Open Studio Art Package to celebrate and encourage traffic to the Cultural Council's 25th Anniversary Open Studios Art Tour, which kicks off Saturday, October 2nd and runs for three weekends. This year's Art Tour marks 25 wonderful years of artists opening their studios and sharing their creativity with Santa Cruz County residents and visitors.

Included in the Open Studios Art Package are luxury accommodations at Chaminade Resort & Spa, breakfast for two and an Open Studios Calendar (a $20 value), which includes a detailed map to assist guests in planning their art adventure.

Dates for the 2010 Open Studios Art Tour are: * South County, October 2nd & 3rd, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
* North County, October 9th & 10th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
* Encore Studios, October 16th & 17, 10 am. to 5 p.m.

Art enthusiasts staying at Chaminade Resort & Spa will have the special privilege of viewing Cultural Council artists' work on display and for sale in the hotel's lobby. Featured local artists include Mike Butler, Christianna Hunnicutt and Jim and Connie Grant.
