Chaminade Resort & Spa Hosts 2nd Annual Toy Drive & Thanksgiving Dinner
Toy Drive to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz
Those who share in the holiday spirit by donating a gift on Thanksgiving will be entered to win one of three luxurious prizes to be enjoyed at the Resort & Spa. The prizes include an overnight stay for two plus breakfast, your choice of one 50 minute massage or 90 minute facial, or Christmas dinner or Sunday Champagne brunch for four in the Sunset Restaurant. The drawing for the prizes will take place on December 4th.
The gifts for the Boys and Girls Club should be new, unwrapped and must be worth $10 or more to qualify for the drawing. Your donations can be dropped off beginning on Thanksgiving Day until December 4th to the main lobby of Chaminade Resort & Spa, located at One Chaminade Lane in Santa Cruz. Chaminade's staff will deliver the toys to the Boys and Girls Club during the organization's annual holiday party.
"We are so appreciative of the relationship Chaminade and the Boys & Girls Club has formed. The kids all had a great time last year and are looking forward to it again", said Julie Penniman, Development Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz. "It's always nice to see that Chaminade and its employees get involved in giving back to their community."
This is the second year Chaminade Resort & Spa is having a Thanksgiving Day toy drive for the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz. In addition to the Toy Drive, on December 12th, the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz will also be spending a day at Chaminade full of Christmas movies, Christmas cookies and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus himself.
For Thanksgiving, Chaminade's award winning chefs will be serving Thanksgiving Dinner from 12:00 until 6:00. The menu will offer a spread of traditional Thanksgiving favorites in as well as a number of delicious additions served buffet style that let you spend Thanksgiving with your family instead of in the kitchen.
