Santa Cruz, Calif. - November 10, 2009 - Chaminade Resort & Spa can now be enjoyed by pets as much as it is by their owners. The 300-acre property is now dog friendly, and welcomes people to bring their animals for walks on the beautiful property or to stay with their owners during overnight stays.

Chaminade offers three hiking trails through pristine eucalyptus groves and grassy fields. The trails range from .5 to 1.75 miles long and are ideal for walking your pet while enjoying a refreshing, revitalizing view.

The Resort asks that animals staying the night weigh 40 pounds or under. There is a small fee for animals staying the night, and pet-friendly rooms are cleaned and treated for potential allergens to assure a comfortable stay for all guests. While pets are welcome on the property and in hotel rooms, they are not permitted into the dining areas.
