Cannery Row Company Names New Chief Operating Officer

Monterey, CA - The Cannery Row Company announced today the promotion of William "Bill" Grimm to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Previously Executive Vice President of Real Estate Leasing and Acquisitions, Grimm joined the company in October 2001.

Bill came to The Cannery Row Company from Gloria Jean's Coffees, Inc., where he was both an officer and the Vice President of Global Development. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Worldwide Development at California Pizza Kitchen Restaurants, Inc., a PepsiCo company.

Bill has served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for Mission Community Hospital in Los Angeles, and briefly served as their interim CEO.  In 2004 he was Board Chair of the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and chaired the Government Affairs Committee.

He has a BS degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and pursued an MBA at Loyola University-Chicago.

Founded in 1976, the Cannery Row Company operates over one million square feet of commercial, industrial and retail development in the Monterey Peninsula area.
