Monterey, Calif. – April 12, 2010 – Sunday, April 11th, Café Fina Owner, Dominic Mercurio, cooked dinner for country music star Kenny Chesney at Hall of Famer John Madden's recording studio in Pleasanton. Chesney was in town for a documentary he's making on football players and coaches for a new song he has coming out. The event was a private dinner with Chesney, John Madden and around 60 friends.

The menu featured Dominic's specialty BBQ, including smoked ribs, tri-tip, chicken, eight kinds of sausage, quail and oysters. Complementing the meal was homemade pork and beans, coleslaw, potato salad, lobster mac n' cheese, grilled veggies, classic Fisherman's Wharf shrimp cocktails, and corn on the cob with chili butter. And to top it off, what better way to end the meal than with dessert, which was a truly giant banana split.

Dominic Mercurio and the Café Fina team were also the caterers for John Madden's Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Canton, Ohio in 2006. In addition to owning Café Fina, Dominic is also the co-owner of Domenico's on the Wharf, a local favorite for over 30 years.
