Monterey, CA - May 24, 2010 - Café Fina and Domenico's on the Wharf has acquired Jeff Linscomb as its new Executive Chef. His first day was May 12th and customers are already sending compliments to the chef. With Linscomb in place, new specials will begin rolling from the kitchen every ten days to keep the menu as fresh as the products used to make it.

Jeff Linscomb brings to Café Fina 23 years of culinary experience, including serving as Executive Chef at The Sequoia Bee-Bennett House in Placerville, California and at River Ranch at Lake Tahoe. Fresh seafood is Linscomb favorite to cook with and he enjoys preparing dishes with an unmasked, rustic style.

Shying from the limelight, Linscomb feels most at home in the kitchen. "I try not to take myself seriously, but I take my food very seriously". Linscomb constantly pushes himself, discovering ways to improve dishes and make them truly memorable.

A few of the upcoming dinner specials include:
* Pan Seared Arctic Char over grilled sun dried tomato polenta with Puttanesca sauce and served with house vegetables, and;
* Petrale Sole Involtini with leeks, over wilted spinach and fresh tomatoes with a light white wine Dijon butter sauce and served with house vegetables and cauliflower mash potatoes.

Café Fina and Domenico's on the Wharf are members of the Monterey Aquarium's Seafood Watch Restaurant Program, guaranteeing a commitment to responsibly sourced seafood. The fresh produce served at the restaurants comes directly from their local ranch, tended to by the restaurant staff. Café Fina is also a member of the Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program.
