Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Celebrates 10 Exciting Years on Cannery Row
MONTEREY, Calif. - June 9, 2006 - Cannery Row's Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. invites families and friends to celebrate 10 exciting years in Monterey on Sunday, June 11 from 11am to 4pm. The anniversary celebration will include activities for the whole family, a new summer food and drink menu and live music. The restaurant will also showcase a brand new patio on the Bay and a coastal overlook walkway.
Activities for families during the celebration will include kids' crafts presented by MY Museum, face painting, a sand box, and other fun activities. Forest Gump and Shrimp Louis will be in attendance to entertain the crowd along with live music by Drifting Sand, a surf band from San Francisco. 101.7 the Beach will also be broadcasting live from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The culmination of the celebration will be the cutting of the birthday cake, starting at 3:00pm in the outdoor plaza, located at the front of the restaurant.
Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is located at 720 Cannery Row in Monterey and for the first time in its 10 year history, will now offer call ahead seating.
