Ausonio Inc. Winner of Agc Constructor Award 2nd Year in a Row
CASTROVILLE, Calif.-This past Saturday at the 17th Annual Constructors Awards Banquet held in San Francisco, CA, sponsored by the Associated General Contractors of California (AGC), Ausonio Incorporated was announced as the winner of the Contribution to Community category for the design and construction of the Boys and Girls Club Harden Youth Center in Salinas. The AGC of California, the voice of the construction industry since 1920, is an organization of responsible construction firms and industry-related companies dedicated to skill, integrity and responsibility in improving our physical environment.
The Contribution to Community category recognizes projects and contractors whose primary efforts benefited their community or a charitable organization. According to the AGC, "the Constructor Awards Program allows members to share achievements with others — not in a boastful way, but rather in the spirit of sharing work well done." The AGC Constructor Awards program recognizes the diversity and ingenuity characteristic of the construction industry.
Ausonio Inc. is a past award winner and finalist of the coveted Constructor Award multiple times. Last year they were the recipient of the Meeting the Challenge of a Difficult Job for the LifeSparc Facility in Hollister, in 1988 they won the Excellence in Client Service for the Papal Visit Project, Monterey; in 1997 were the winner in the Contribution to the Community for the Calvary Chapel project in Monterey; and in 1997 were selected as a finalist in the Meeting the Challenge of the Difficult Job for the Paradise remodel, Carmel.
