Kristin McKee, Project Engineer, Earns LEED Green Associate Designation from Green Building Certification Institute

CASTROVILLE, Calif. - October 7, 2009 - Kristin McKee, Project Engineer with Ausonio, Inc., has become a LEED Green Associate after passing the credential exam administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).

McKee is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans and lives in Monterey. In her role as Project Engineer, she is currently working with the Portola Hotel & Spa, which is targeting LEED® Existing Building Maintenance and Operations certification.

For professionals who want to demonstrate green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice, the Green Building Certification Institute created the LEED Green Associate credential, which denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations.
