David Armanasco announced that Andrew Armanasco has joined Armanasco Public Relations, Inc. (APR) as the Business Development Account Executive for the company.

Armanasco graduated from Monterey Peninsula College with an associate degree in Business and attended the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma where he majored in Kinesiology.  Prior to joining APR, Armanasco served as Director of Account Management for SOAR Media Agency and was responsible for new business development, account management, and relationship management before becoming a partner in the company. In addition to his position with APR, Armanasco will continue his role as a partner at SOAR Media Agency, a global marketing and advertising agency headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

In addition to SOAR, Armanasco worked for several years in the cannabis industry as a business development consultant for clients throughout North America, South America, and Europe in the areas of cultivation, land acquisition, manufacturing, business expansion, sales, and distribution.  His work led to the brokering of numerous cannabis business entities that are now fully licensed and operational.

Armanasco also served three years in the United States Army and two tours in Iraq.  During his time in Iraq, he was a communication liaison between the local population and military leaders which was critical in the capturing of over fifty enemy insurgents.  As a team leader, Armanasco was also involved in the training of local nationals who joined US forces in those operations.  He received multiple awards including the Solider of the Cycle Award--given to the top recruit at the completion of basic training, received three Army Commendations Medals, three Army Achievement Medals, and countless coins for valor and leadership on and off the battlefield.

After being honorably discharged from the Army Armanasco went back to his passion, the health and fitness industry.  During his career in the industry, he managed 16 In-Shape fitness clubs from Monterey to the East Bay Area. He also assisted the club ownership with the creation of personnel policies and procedures, a how-to manual for employee orientation, and recruiting strategies to increase the candidate pool and overall productivity.  He then became the regional fitness manager for 42 Gold's Gym fitness clubs, responsible for hiring and overseeing the management and operations of the clubs.
