American Tin Cannery to Present 'swing Into Spring' Fashion Show

Customer Appreciation Event Features Discounts and Dance Performances

PACIFIC GROVE, CALIF. - April 4, 2006 - The American Tin Cannery (ATC) invites customers to celebrate spring at the Swing Into Spring Fashion Show, 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 23. The free customer appreciation event will include dance performances as well as raffles for prizes donated by ATC businesses. Some ATC stores will also offer special customer discounts that day only.

The show will feature fashions for the Central Coast and include clothing, shoes, and accessories provided by ATC's newest store, Ms. Fabulous, along with Evolution Performance Wear, Nine West, Izod, Geoffrey Beene, Van Heusen, the Sockshop, and Aquatic Fitness.
      
The program begins at 12:00 PM with dance demonstrations ranging from West Coast swing to ballroom. The fashion show starts at 12:30 PM and will include drawings for prizes. At 1:30 PM, dancers will take center stage again with break-dance and hip-hop performances. Following the event, participating ATC stores will offer special discounts.

ATC is presenting the afternoon of fashion, dance, and discounts as a way to show appreciation for local customers and introduce them to a vibrant new crop of small businesses that have joined the shopping center's existing discount outlets. At ATC, local customers can shop at a unique mix of stores, all under one roof, while supporting local businesses.

In 1926, the American Can Company opened its sprawling sardine can production plant a short distance over the Pacific Grove city line.
