Alisal Union School District Welcomes Public for Presentation of New Elementary School

SALINAS, Calif - The Alisal Union School District (AUSD) Board of Directors invites the community to attend a public presentation of the proposed new elementary school in the anticipated Mountain Valley development in East Salinas.
Valley Community Homes, builders of Mountain Valley, will provide details and visuals of the project and will discuss the concept of a "developer-built school." The proposed nine-acre school for approximately 400 students will be built and donated by Valley Community Homes.
The project was introduced to the AUSD Board of Directors on October 2, 2002. The next public meeting is Wednesday, October 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Alisal Union School District, 1205 East Market Street in Salinas.
