A Festive and Free Holiday Celebration on Cannery Row
MONTEREY, Calif. - A winter wonderland comes to life on Cannery Row and rings in the first signs of holiday spirit in the air. Cannery Row will be transformed into an enchanted holiday forest with music, warmth and dazzling lights and decorations. The season kicks off with the traditional tree lighting ceremony, followed by weekly events including carolers, music, ice carving demonstration, children's petting zoo, SPCA adoption booth and children's crafts. There will be free parking for the 9th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Cannery Row Garage located on Foam and Wave Street .

Lighting of spectacular 25-foot Christmas Tree and magical appearance by Santa, complimentary photograph at Santa's Holiday Forest and free surrey rides.
New this year, Cannery Row will feature Santa's Holiday Forest, located inside 700 Cannery Row, #D-1 (off Steinbeck Plaza). Christmas trees donated from Cardinale & Wright Christmas Trees will be on display at the entrance into Santa's Holiday Forest. The trees will be decorated by local elementary school students, which were sponsored by Cannery Row businesses.
