Tuesday Farmer's Market at Barnyard Shopping Village Returns, May 15 Through Late September
Carmel, Calif. –May 7, 2007 — The Barnyard Shopping Village in association with the nonprofit Monterey Bay Certified Farmer's Market, will host a weekly Farmer's Market (rain or shine) each Tuesday beginning May 15, 2007 and running through late September. This season proudly marks the third year of theFarmer's Marketat The Barnyard Shopping Village in Carmel.
The Monterey Bay Certified Farmer's Market, now celebrating its 31st anniversary, offers over 25 local growers the opportunity to showcase their agricultural products such as organic honey, olives, fresh-cut flowers, vegetables, fruit, and more. Over 90% of available produce offered during the Farmer's Market is organically grown. In addition, this season will include SPCA pet adoptions every other week, as well as affiliations with Carmel High School's Sober Grad and CHOMP blood donations.
