The Professional Culinary Institute Hosts 3rd Annual High School Scholarship Competition

2008 Graduating High School Students Compete for up to $15,000 Culinary Arts Scholarship

CAMPBELL, Calif. - April 21, 2008 - The Professional Culinary Institute (PCI) Foundation will host the 2008 High School Scholarship Competition - an event that attracts the area's most talented aspiring young chefs. Participating high school students have the opportunity to compete for three scholarships to apply toward their education at PCI: first place, $15,000; second place, $7,500; and third place, $5,000.

WHO: The Professional Culinary Institute Foundation 2008 Scholarship Competition

WHAT: Twenty 2008 graduating high school seniors will come together in a competition to win a scholarship for assistance in funding their PCI culinary education. Competing students will vie for three possible scholarships: first place, $15,000; second place, $7,500; and third place, $5,000.
