Shearwater Air Adds Luxurious Gulfstream G550 To Charter Fleet
Jet Will Make Its Debut at Gordon McCall Motorworks Revival
MONTEREY, CALIF. – Shearwater Air, a Monterey based jet charter and aircraft management company, is proud to announce the addition of a Gulfstream G55O to their charter certificate.
The most technologically advanced aircraft in its class, the Gulfstream G550 seats 16 passengers and is able to fly international non-stop itineraries. With two distinct living areas, the G550 is designed to maximize passenger comfort suitable for long range travel and includes airborne Wi-Fi communication for business travelers.

Shearwater Air's G550 will make its first appearance on August 14th at the 22nd Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival Event at the Monterey Jet Center - the "Kick-Off" party for the infamous August automotive week in Monterey. This exclusive event entertains more than 2,500 guests amongst private jets, vintage cars, and gourmet food. Shearwater Air has been a part of the McCall Event for three years, previously showcasing their 9-seater Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft.
"We are so excited about this new aircraft we wanted to give people the opportunity to see this luxurious, modern, state-of-the-art plane up close," states Hamilton.
Shearwater began its jet charter service in 2010. They have been managing aircraft since 1996 and continue to expand their fleet through their aircraft management services. Air charter and management agreements are an appealing option for aircraft owners, as it is a good way to offset fixed expenses of owning a private plane.
