Quail Lodge Resort& Golf Club to Host

<b>MONTEREY COUNTY YOUNG PROFESSIONALS GROUP’S GOLF-THEMED MIXER</b>

MONTEREY, Calif. - August 30, 2007 - The Monterey County Young Professionals Group (MCYPG) is excited to announce Tips 'n' Sips, their first-ever golf-themed mixer, Thursday, September 20, 2007 from 6pm - 8pm at Edgar's at Quail Lodge in Carmel Valley. Generously sponsored by Quail Lodge Resort and Golf Club, young professionals ages 21-39 are invited to mingle in the bar, play the six-hole putting challenge and receive complementary instruction and swing analysis by Todd Southard, director of instruction at Quail Lodge. The MCYPG urges attendees to bring 20 business cards to share while networking. Admission is $10 per person which includes golf activities and hors d'oeuvres. There will be a no-host (cash) bar.

Most recently, after five years of serving as the MCYPG's president, Lisa Thomas has stepped down and Sarah Andrus, also of Armanasco Public Relations, Inc., has been named president of the organization. Founded in 2002 by Thomas, Elizabeth Diaz and their colleagues, all of Armanasco Public Relations, Inc., the MCYPG remains dedicated to offering young professionals in their 20s and 30s a career and business development resource. The MCYPG also provides valuable networking opportunities for young professionals to forge new relationships and establish business contacts, thus promoting and encouraging their emerging roles in the local community.

Located at 8205 Valley Greens Drive, Carmel, the recently renovated Quail Lodge Resort and Golf Club boasts luxurious rooms, championship golf and a pampering spa. Edgar's is one of the resort's most popular spots. This classic sports bar features indoor and outdoor dining, as well as a dozen flat screen televisions.
