Phillips Gallery Kicks Off the At&t Pro-Am With Suzanne Mccourt's "memoirs of the Crosby Clambake"

What: "Memoirs of the Crosby Clambake"
Artist Suzanne McCourt presents "Memoirs of the Crosby Clambake," with vibrant paintings, sketches, and mixed media. McCourt also shares for the first time the Yost family's rare and wonderful collection of personal letters, photos, and historical insights into the legendary days of the Crosby Clambake (her father was famous amateur Dick Yost). Proceeds from sales of a limited edition print benefit the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, host to the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Suzanne Yost McCourt grew up in the rich cultural environment of the Pacific Northwest, and received her RN there in 1980. As an adult, she studied painting at Cabrillo College and has since earned international recognition for her work in various mediums, such as acrylic, mixed media, collage, charcoal on canvas, and watercolor. Capturing spirit and expression through her impressionistic brushwork and gestural qualities, McCourt has been recognized in numerous solo shows, juried exhibitions, and publications.
