MONTEREY, Calif. - October 11, 2007 - The Monterey County Young Professionals Group (MCYPG) is thrilled to hold its second fall mixer on Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 5:30-8pm at Estéban, downtown Monterey's Mediterranean-inspired restaurant. Young professionals, ages 21-39, are invited to socialize and network while sipping sangria and enjoying tapas on the outdoor patio. Attendees are urged to bring 20 business cards to share while networking, and a prize will be awarded at 7pm to a winner from the networking game. Admission is $10 per person, which includes hors d'oeuvres. There will be a no-host (cash) bar.

"The Monterey County Young Professionals Group has a new spirit and enthusiasm," remarked Sarah Andrus, MCYPG president. "Our membership has great ideas, so we're spicing up our events with their suggestions while sticking to our mission. We're making being a young professional fun!"

Located at 700 Munras Avenue at the historic Casa Munras hotel, Esteban promises a unique culinary experience where guests can "Sip, Savor and Share" Mediterranean tapas and Spanish influenced cuisine. The restaurant serves dinner and late night menu options, as well as an outdoor lounge with fireplace, making it the perfect place to socialize with friends. Lunch will be served beginning October 12th.
