MONTEREY, Calif. - January 29, 2008 - The Monterey County Young Professionals Group (MCYPG) invites the area's young professionals to test their palates during the first mixer of 2008 on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at A Taste of Monterey, the region's official wine visitors' center of Monterey County. Young professionals, ages 21-39, are invited to socialize and network while sampling wine from various local wineries throughout the region. Sure to inspire each guest's palates will be a wine-themed networking game, not only providing education, but many fun prizes as well.

Who: MCYPG and A Taste of Monterey

What: MCYPG members, ages 21 to 39, are invited to attend a wine-themed event at A Taste of Monterey, the region's official wine visitors' center of Monterey County. Guests are invited to socialize and network while tasting wines from local wineries throughout the region. A wine-themed networking game will keep things lively, as teams compete for fun and exciting prizes.

When: Wednesday, February 6, 2008
6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

*Guests must be at the event by 7:30 p.m. to participate in the game.

Cost: Admission is $10 per person, which includes hors d'oeuvres.
*There will be a no-host (cash) bar.
