Kasavan Architects Hires Alex Reynoso
Local Professional Joins Kasavan’s Award Winning Team
Prior to joining Kasavan Architects, Alex was principal of In Studio Architects where he designed the distinctive Castroville Motors building in Castroville, California. Before that, he worked with Belli Architectural Group for 8 years where he managed and contributed to the design of notable projects such as the Salinas Boys and Girls Club and the D'Arrigo Brothers Corporate Offices, and served on the restoration team for the historic Victorian era windmill and its adjacent farm buildings for the Harden Foundation and which received the 2007 California Preservation Foundation Design Award.

Alex is currently working on the design of the Rancho Cielo Vocational Education Building and the Oasis Charter School in Salinas, CA, as well as the Gonzales Community Center in Gonzales, CA. "Alex's enthusiasm and his detailed collaborative approach to design and project management are very much in line with the way Kasavan Architects has been doing business for the past 59 years. Alex is a board member with the Salinas Planning and Review Committee (SPARC), the Salinas Valley Youth Soccer League and the City of Salinas Design Review Board, He resides in Salinas with his wife Maria Lina Reynoso, and their three children, Ariana, Cristian, and Alejandro.
Kasavan Architects specializes in the design of K-12 schools, community colleges, public buildings, and commercial building types. The firm has received many awards for its projects, including an Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects Monterey Bay Chapter for the National Steinbeck Center, a Grand Award from the National Commercial Builders Council for the Grain Tower building in Salinas, and an Award of Merit from the Coalition for Adequate School Housing and American Institute of Architects for the Gilroy Unified School District Student Center Building.
